Givewith helps companies leverage the power of business transactions to generate measurable returns on social impact investments. We built them a new site for their growing suite of products.

Role: Design Lead — Made @ Instrument — 2020

The Ask

With their existing site, prospective customers found it hard to understand exactly what Givewith offered and how it worked. In nine weeks, we built a functional, scalable site that clearly communicates Givewith’s vision and offerings with a pre-selected technical stack and template-based design system.

Complex made simple

Givewith's proprietary platform gives organizations the power to perform a variety of actions such as review corporate responsibility profiles, generate social impact program recommendations, and manage funding and track its impact. We worked closely with their team to abstract UI from these key moments and purposefully ground them with real examples of successful partnerships to help tell their story.

A world class library

Givewith clients get access to the largest social enterprise and nonprofit content library in the world. We embedded gallery moments in the website and paired product UI with photography to showcase this incredible library. To give identity and respect to individuals and nonprofits represented, we included captions that describe the partnership goals.

A kit of parts

In order to take concepts to launch in nine short weeks, we used a pre-selected tech stack and fairly rigid template-based approach to make the most functional, repurpose-able designs. We ended up with 8 core templates that use around 20 different components that are built flexibly to accommodate varying content and background colors.
